Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Safari Permit Bookings

Safari permits for Jim Corbett National Park are issued by the Corbett Tiger Reserve through the official government portal. Once a permit has been booked and confirmed by the government portal:

• Government permit fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, as per the Corbett Tiger Reserve's policy.
• Jim Corbett Trip's service fee (if applicable) may be partially refunded in case of cancellation made at least 72 hours before the safari date.
• No refund on service fees for cancellations made within 72 hours of the safari.
• If the safari is cancelled by the Corbett Tiger Reserve due to bad weather, zone closure, or other administrative reasons, we will assist you in rescheduling, but refunds are subject to government policy.

2. Hotel & Resort Bookings

• Hotel cancellation terms vary by property. The specific cancellation policy will be communicated at the time of booking.
• Cancellations made more than 7 days before check-in: Full refund (minus any non-refundable advance paid to the property).
• Cancellations made 3–7 days before check-in: 50% refund.
• Cancellations made less than 3 days before check-in: No refund.
• No-shows: No refund.

3. Taxi & Transfer Services

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours before pickup: Full refund.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup: 50% refund.
• No-shows or cancellations after the driver has departed: No refund.

4. Tour Packages

• Cancellation more than 15 days before travel date: 75% refund.
• Cancellation 7–15 days before travel date: 50% refund.
• Cancellation less than 7 days before travel date: No refund.

5. How to Request a Cancellation / Refund

Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment method.

6. Force Majeure

Jim Corbett Trip is not responsible for cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control including but not limited to: natural disasters, government orders, park closures, strikes, or extreme weather. In such cases, we will make best efforts to reschedule or provide partial credit.
